Imiyalo yeTestamente Elisha

UPawulu wayazi ukuthi amaKristu aseThesalonika ayenoMoya oNgcwele owawuqondisa futhi uwafundise. Wayazi futhi ukuthi babedinga iziyalo nezikhumbuzi eziyisisekelo ngempilo yobuKristu. AmaKristu abizelwe enkululekweni—“Kepha bhekani ukuba nikhululeke ningayiniki inyama indawo; kodwa ngothando khonzanani.” (Galathiya 5,13). Inkululeko iza nezibopho, ngaphandle kwalokho “inkululeko” yomuntu oyedwa ingaphazamisa eyomunye. Akekho okufanele akhululeke ukuholela abanye ebugqilini ngokushumayela, noma ukuzizuzela abalandeli, noma ukubuyisela abantu bakaNkulunkulu. Ukuziphatha okunjalo okuhlukanisayo nokuphambene nobuKristu akuvunyelwe.

Umthwalo Wethu

“Umthetho wonke ugcwaliseka ezwini linye,” kusho uPawulu evesini 14 : “Wothanda umakhelwane wakho njengalokhu uzithanda wena.” Lokhu kufingqa umthwalo wethu wemfanelo komunye nomunye. Indlela ephambene, ukulwela inzuzo yomuntu siqu, iyazilimaza ngempela (v. 15).

Imicabango yobugovu ivela enyameni, kodwa uMoya kaNkulunkulu udala imicabango engcono. “Ngokuba inyama ivukela umoya, nomoya uphambene nenyama; bamelene omunye nomunye...” (v. 17). Ngenxa yalokhu kungqubuzana komoya nenyama, ngezinye izikhathi siyona nakuba singafuni.

“Kepha uma uMoya enibusa, aniphansi komthetho” (ivesi 18). Indlela yethu yokuphila ihlukile. Sibheke kuMoya futhi uMoya uzothuthukisa kithi isifiso kanye namandla okuphila imiyalelo kaKristu. Sibeka ihhashi phambi kwenqola.

Sibheka kuJesu kuqala, futhi sibona imiyalo Yakhe kumongo wokwethembeka kwethu kuYe, hhayi njengemithetho "ekufanele ilalelwe noma sizojeziswa."

KwabaseGalathiya 5 uPawulu ubala izinhlobonhlobo zezono: “Ubufebe, ukungcola, amanyala; ukukhonza izithombe nokuthakatha; ubutha, ukuxabana, umhawu, ukuthukuthela, ukuxabana, ukuxabana, ukwahlukana, nomhawu; ukuphuza, ukudla, nokunye” (amav. 19-21). Okunye kwalokhu ukuziphatha, okunye yizimo zengqondo, kodwa zonke ziwubugovu futhi zisuka enhliziyweni enesono.

UPawulu uyasixwayisa: “...abenza lokho abayikulidla ifa lombuso kaNkulunkulu” (ivesi 21). Lena akuyona indlela kaNkulunkulu; Lena akuyona indlela esifuna ukuba yiyo; akusiyo indlela esifuna ibandla libe ngayo...

Intethelelo iyatholakala kuzo zonke lezi zono (1. AbaseKorinte 6,9-11). Ingabe lokhu kusho ukuthi ibandla kufanele lishaywe indiva isono? Cha, iBandla aliyona iveli noma indawo ephephile yezono ezinjalo. IBandla kufanele libe yindawo lapho umusa nentethelelo ivezwa futhi inikezwe khona, hhayi indawo lapho isono sivunyelwa ukuba siqhubeke singavinjwa.

“Kepha isithelo sikaMoya siluthando, nokujabula, nokuthula, nokubekezela, nobubele, nobuvi, nokukholeka, nobumnene, nobumsulwa” (Galathiya. 5,22-23). Lokhu kuwumphumela wenhliziyo ezinikele kuNkulunkulu. “Kodwa labo abangabakaKristu Jesu babethele esiphambanweni inyama yabo kanye nokuhuheka nezinkanuko zayo” (indima 24). Ngokusebenza kukaMoya kithi, siyakhula entandweni nasemandleni okulahla imisebenzi yenyama. Sithwala izithelo zomsebenzi kaNkulunkulu ngaphakathi kwethu.

Umyalezo kaPawulu ucacile: Asikho ngaphansi komthetho - kodwa akubona abangenamthetho. Singaphansi kwegunya likaKristu, ngaphansi komthetho waKhe, ngaphansi kokuhola kukaMoya oNgcwele. Ukuphila kwethu kusekelwe okholweni, kugqugquzelwa uthando, olubonakala ngenjabulo, ukuthula nokukhula. “Uma sihamba ngoMoya, masihambe futhi ngoMoya” (indima 25).
