UJesu akasithumanga ukuba simemezele inhlekelele nobumnyama. Wasinika umyalezo wethemba. Wasitshela ukuthi sitshele izwe ukuthi ukuphila kusanda kuqala, kunokuba "sizibhale." Ivangeli likhuluma ngaye, ukuthi ungubani, wenzani nokuthi yini engenzeka ngenxa yakho. Lapho uJesu ezikhipha ethuneni lakhe, konke kwashintsha. Wenza zonke izinto zaba zintsha. Ngaye uNkulunkulu wahlenga futhi wabuyisela zonke izinto ezisezulwini nezisemhlabeni (Kolose 1,16-enye).

Ivangeli aliwona umyalezo wokulahlwa nokulahlwa. UJesu wakwenza kwacaca lokhu evesini elilandelayo: “Ngokuba uNkulunkulu kayithumanga iNdodana yakhe ezweni ukuba yahlulele izwe, kodwa izwe lisindiswe ngayo.” ( Joh. 3,17).

UNkulunkulu uzimisele ukusindisa umhlaba, hhayi ukuwubhubhisa. Yingakho ukuphila kufanele kubonise ithemba nenjabulo, hhayi ukungabi nathemba nokwesaba. Noma nini lapho sithola ithuba, kufanele “senze okuhle kuwo wonke umuntu, ikakhulukazi kulabo esikholwa nabo” (Galathiya 6,10). Kodwa izingozi emhlabeni sezifikile futhi zadlula iminyaka eyizinkulungwane ezimbili, futhi wonke amaKristu ayeqiniseka ngokuphelele ukuthi ayephila ezikhathini zokugcina ayenephutha ngaso sonke isikhathi. UNkulunkulu akasinikezanga indlela eqinisekile yokuba silungile.

Kodwa wasinika ivangeli lethemba, ivangeli okumele laziwe kubo bonke abantu ngezikhathi zonke. Sinelungelo lokuphila ezinsukwini zokuqala zendalo entsha, eyaqala lapho uJesu evuka kwabafileyo.

Ngicabanga ukuthi lesi yisizathu sangempela sokuba nethemba, ithemba kanye nebhizinisi likababa wethu. Ngicabanga ukuthi nawe uyayibona.
